I will cherish everything we have. I won’t take love for granted. I’ll cherish every second I spend with you instead of being concerned with the time I don’t spend with you, even when it feels like I can’t get enough of you. I’ll cherish every place we’ll go, every car ride, every walk, and every conversation. I’ll take in every hour of the late nights we have on weekends instead of chasing for more and wishing we had the whole night. I’ll cherish every time we cuddle and every time you kiss me instead of rushing things further. I will be grateful for every moment I get to have a connection with you. Because time is a mystery and can be scarce, and people and relationships are complicated and fragile things. Always craving more is a black hole that will devour you. You have to find that point of contentment because it’s way more peaceful than listening to the endless screams of the desire for something more than you will never have because nothing will ever be enough. You have to learn when to want more because it’s what you deserve and when you’re letting your desire for more spiral out of control into a state of greed. It’s never easy, but worth it.
